Cutlery Pencil study and new viking painting

'The Mourning Tree' WIP
'Pick me!' Study in pencil
This is a study I did in tone and form. I started it in class with Erika Gofton and finished it for home work. It's not bad I think...Yes, lots of faults....I'll get better...I used black and white pencil for it.
And a new viking painting, started on a whim. Not sure where its totally going but now its dry I can start rendering the forms and adding some detail woohoo

I love the tonal drawing Jade. Very complex piece. The new viking painting is looking interesting already. Kay

Hi Wendi! Yeah it is great the classes, just covering the basics which I've never done before. Today we did a colour wheel - though I've looked at them alot, I've never done them, now I'm going to go make a big massive one with all my colours lol

Thanks Jodie, I really enjoyed doing it, used a black and white pencil. I think I'll set up a big cutlery still life and have a go at painting it in attempt to get into EMSLA next year lol *dreaming*
